Do you have a tired but treasured piece of furniture or auction find that you would like to restore or perhaps a lampshade which has seen better days?
Our popular workshops & courses are held regularly throughout the year, designed for anyone wishing to learn professional upholstery & lampshade making techniques in a friendly and informative environment.
Acquiring a new skill can sometimes be a daunting task, but it doesn’t need to be
when you receive plenty of individual attention. Sarah limits all upholstery courses,
workshops and the traditional lampshade making workshop to a maximum of 4
students, so you can be assured of a high level of individual tuition.
For the upholstery classes, tools are provided along with protective eye wear and
aprons, if you prefer to use your own feel free to bring them with you.
Upholstery materials are charged for on a as used basis, when a 5 week course is
booked you're welcome to leave your project for the duration of your course.
Everything is included lampshade for the lampshade courses, if you wish to bring
your own sewing machine along please do so.
There is secure parking at the farm and everything is on the ground floor so no stairs to negotiate.
When a full day is booked, lunch is provided along with refreshments throughout your day.
To book please call or email you will be sent a booking form.
To secure your place a deposit of 25% is required with the balance due 1 month before your start date. If you need to cancel for any reason you can book onto another course or a full refund will be provided as long as you cancel within 2 weeks of your start date, after this time a cancellation fee of £25 will be charged.
We reserve the right to cancel the course if we get insufficient bookings and will aim to provide you with 10 days notice, your fee will be fully refunded.
